Gail Amornpongchai, Au.D.

Dr. Amornpongchai, Au.D., C-AAA, is the clinical director of audiology for the Hearing and Balance Center in Stockton. She enjoys working with both adult and pediatric patients and is highly skilled and knowledgeable in all areas of diagnostic evaluation and hearing aid technology. Dr. Amornpongchai follows the best practices in both diagnostic and hearing aid fitting, including using verification such as real-ear measurement, validation measures and hearing aid testing, as well as offering specialized audiological services such as cochlear implant evaluation and programming, tinnitus evaluation and pediatric testing.

Dr. Amornpongchai joined the University of the Pacific in 2015. She received her Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and her Doctor of Audiology from Vanderbilt University. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She speaks both English and Thai.
